Police investigate theft of $200,000 lamp

SMYRNA, Del. (AP) - March 9, 2009 Police say thieves stole a Tiffany Wisteria lamp worth $200,000 and eight other lamps were taken from a home in the 500 block of Marilyn Road. The theft happened Thursday morning between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.

Neighbors told police a gray or silver Mercedes Benz hatchback was parked in the driveway when the thefts reportedly happened. Police say the car may have had a Mercedes Benz license plate on the front bumper.
