Witnesses say the man looks at the menu and sometimes even orders food. They say he then points a black handgun at the victims and hands them a black plastic bag demanding that they fill it with the money from the registers.
All four robberies happened between 8:20 pm and 11:00 pm.
The first incident, according to police, took place on March 5th at 8:35 pm in the 1500 block of Porter Street. The report says the suspect entered the Pizza Shack with a black handgun. The owner of the store says he ran to the back and the suspect fled the scene without taking anything. Police say the suspect could have fled in a 2002-2003 silver color Neon or Intrepid body style vehicle.
The second incident reportedly happened two days later on March 7th at 8:20 pm in the 1600 block of South 2nd Street. An employee at Two Street Pizza said the suspect entered the store, pointed a black handgun at her and calmly said his name was "Maurice". She said the man handed her a small black shopping bag and told her to fill it with money from the register. She said she gave the man $100 and he fled the scene.
In the third incident, an employee at Jackson Village Pizza in the 2100 block of South 22nd Street said a man entered the store on March 11th at 10:00 pm. She said he handed her a black plastic bag and demanded money from the register. She said she gave him $150 and he left heading north on 22nd Street towards Snyder Avenue.
The fourth robbery reportedly happened March 14th at 11:00 pm in the 800 block of South 4th Street. The owner of Queen Village Pizza told officers the suspect entered the store and ordered a pizza. He allegedly then pulled a black plastic bag from his pocket and placed it on the counter and demanded the money from the register. The owner said he refused and the suspect pointed a black handgun at him and reached over and took $35 from the register and fled the scene on foot.
Victims described the suspect as a black male 35-40 years-old, 6'2" - 6'3", medium build, light complexion with freckles, light brown eyes, sandy brown to reddish color eyebrows and a blue hooded sweat shirt.
