Starbucks introduces 'super-premium' ice cream

March 25, 2009

Starbucks Corp. said it's coming out with a new line of "super-premium" ice-cream products in conjunction with its licensing partner, Unilever plc.

The Seattle coffee giant, which signed a licensing agreement with the British food giant last year, said the pints of ice cream will have a retail price of $3.99.

Flavors include caramel macchiato, mocha frappuccino, java chip frappuccino and coffee.

Starbucks already previously released a line of ice creams and frappucino bars.
