Police say the driver went out of control at about 12:30 Tuesday morning at Lincoln Drive and Mount Pleasant Avenue in the West Mount Airy section of Philadelphia.
That's when the bus smacked head-on into a street light.
The driver was the only person injured.
He is being evaluated at Roxborough Hospital.
The crash knocked out power at the intersection.
