2nd teacher from 1 Pa. school sentenced

LANCASTER, Pa. (AP) - April 2, 2009 Investigators say 23-year-old Michael David Gottier of Kutztown was sentenced to five years of probation Wednesday after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor corruption of minors charge. According to court documents Gottier and the Warwick High School student kissed and touched each other but did not have sex.

Gottier was the second band instructor from the school to be sentenced for corruption of minors in the last month.

Former band director Todd Sheerer was sentenced March 3 to three to nine years in prison for having a two-year sexual relationship with a student.

Both men were charged last year.
