Trial set Monday in Philly subway death

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - April 13, 2009 Trial is set Monday for 17-year-old /*Kinta Stanton*/, the only suspect scheduled for trial as a juvenile.

While on house arrest, Stanton has additionally been charged with assault in the discharge of a weapon in his basement that injured another 17-year-old.

The subway death occurred in March 2008. Prosecutors say five teenagers assaulted 36-year-old Starbucks manager Sean Conroy in a concourse. The attack broke several ribs and triggered a fatal asthma attack.

Stanton is charged as a juvenile with third-degree murder.
