Another swine flu case in Del.

WILMINGTON, Del. - May 7, 2009 - That brings the total number of confirmed cases in Delaware to 39.

Authorities say all of the patients have exhibited mild symptoms, and there have not been any hospitalizations.

There are also no pending cases, because the department's lab can now test residents' samples as they are submitted.

Public Health officials say they are now treating this like any other seasonal flu virus.

The Division of Public Health Call Center will continue to operate from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Their number is 1-866-408-1899.
