Target reintroduces price matching

May 13, 2009 The new 'Unbeatable Prices Guaranteed' program promises to match the lowest price of Target's competitors.

Target dropped its price-matching program a few year ago because it said it took too much time at checkout.

To take advantage of the new pilot program, customers have to take the competitors full advertisement to the customer service counter.

The ad cannot be expired and the same item must be found inside the Target store. You cannot use it for online purchases.

Target says it's testing the price-matching program in hopes of helping customers who are struggling during this recession.
