School aide arrested for threatening note

BENSALEM, Pa. - May 15, 2009 - That aide, Anthony Siwinksi, a former Philadelphia Police Officer, was arrested and charged in this incident.

Police say it began on May 8th when a student approached a school resource officer, in possession of the note and bullets.

She said she was asked to take a piece of trash out of a water fountain by Siwinski.

The trash, it turns out, was a note addressed to a school assistant, stating "She was to die." Another note was later found in the school stating "They hate the Assistant and the Bomb was to go off within the hour."

Investigators say they determined it was Siwinski who wrote the notes, adding at no time were the students in any danger.

Siwinksi was taken to Bucks County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.
