Search for burglary, vandalism suspects

NEWARK, Del. - June 1, 2009 - RELATED SLIDESHOW: See pictures of the suspects police are looking for

Police were called out around 2:00 a.m. on Sunday to the Washington House Condominiums in Newark. There, they discovered the trio had forced open a security door and gained access to several areas of the building.

While inside, police say the three damaged the interior of two condos that were under construction, and threw items off the fourth floor balconies. They then allegedly broke into a storage area, where personal items were removed.

Police say they also damaged other areas throughout the building by breaking fire control apparatuses, emptying fire extinguishers, damaging light fixtures and removing signs from walls and doors.

The total amount of damage is estimated to be approximately $640 and the total amount of stolen property is estimated to be approximately $940.
