Executive director Ed Trees says for several months the Lottery has been replacing terminals with new ones at all Lottery retailers across the state. The terminals being replaced are 10 years old.
The final phase of the conversion project, Trees says, involves upgrading the software in the "back-office" computer system.
The new lottery terminals feature touch-screen technology and remote devices that allow players to check their own tickets to see if they have won.
