Peaceful surrender program begins again

Philadelphia Faith Leaders teamed up with city officials today, to announce a way for criminals to peacefully surrender to authorities.Last year, nearly 1300 fugitives with non-violent and misdemeanor warrants turned themselves in under the Philadelphia Peaceful Surrender program.

They received favorable consideration in front of a judge.

Tuesday morning in South Philadelphia, officials announced that the program will begin again on July 7th at 5 city churches. Call 311 if you have any questions.
