Peaceful surrender program begins again

June 30, 2009 Last year, nearly 1300 fugitives with non-violent and misdemeanor warrants turned themselves in under the Philadelphia Peaceful Surrender program.

They received favorable consideration in front of a judge.

Tuesday morning in South Philadelphia, officials announced that the program will begin again on July 7th at 5 city churches. Call 311 if you have any questions.

1323 North 52nd Street, West Philly

Greater Exodus Baptist Church
704 North Broad Steet, North Philly

Mount Airy Church of God and Christ
6401 Ogontz Avenue, Mount Airy

Mosque #12
2508 N. Broad St. North Philly
