Teen critical after SW Phila. shooting

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA - July 10, 2009 It happened at the intersection of 48th and Chester Streets in Southwest Philadelphia around 10:00 a.m.

There, police found an 18-year-old man with one gunshot wound to the chest.

Medics transported the teen to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in extremely critical condition.

There is no word on a motive or arrests at this time.
