Chemical leak at the Packer Marine Terminal

Hazmat crews responded to a chemical leak in South Philadelphia Sunday morning. It happened at the Packer Marine Terminal on the 3300 block of South Delaware Avenue.

Workers discovered a tanker car on a freight line had a quick release of hydrochloric acid at around 6:45.

At least two workers were exposed to the chemical.

They were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
