Alleged planner of Piazza robbery arraigned

A man accused of planning a robbery that turned into a double murder at an upscale Philadelphia apartment building last month is has been arraigned on murder charges. The 40-year-old man arraigned Wednesday is known by several names, including Keith Epps, James Wilson, Will Hook and the nickname "Pooh". His lawyer, Christopher Warren, says his client denies involvement in the crimes that led to the June 27 slayings of 40-year-old Rian Thal and her 41-year-old companion Timothy Gilmore in the hallway outside Thal's apartment.

Police believe the slaying was a botched robbery attempt. Police found four kilograms of cocaine and $100,000 in Thal's apartment.

Several others are charged along with Warren's client.
