Police say the 17-year-old Hazlet resident drove the man to a school playground where he was confronted by her girlfriend, 18-year-old Erika Digaicco, and 19-year-old Roxana Owen.
Police say the man was stabbed in the back when he began to defend himself Tuesday. He was treated and released from a hospital.
Digaicco and Owen are charged with aggravated assault and weapons charges. The 17-year-old is charged with conspiracy to commit aggravated assault.
Authorities say the 17-year-old apparently felt she was being harassed by her ex-boyfriend. He wanted to try to resume the relationship.
