They arrived to find an unresponsive 17-month-old boy, who they then rushed to Shore Memorial.
A family from Newtown Square was on vacation at the child's grandparents' home. The 17-month-old crawled out of the dog door and into the pool. He was found later unresponsive.
Police say that he is in an unknown condition at the hospital.
State Police don't believe that there was any negligence in the incident.
