When they arrived they found Wanda Carr, 57, of the 300 block of S. Jackson shot multiple times.
Police believe Carr was confronted by a suspect or suspects who had entered the home, possibly through a 2nd floor window or rear door, and she was shot and killed.
Police have not made any arrests at this time.
