Twenty-seven-year-old /*David Galdo*/ and 23-year-old /*Krystal Mariani*/ of Upper Darby both could face the death penalty if convicted of first-degree murder in the death of /*Rita Hreha*/.
Judge Kevin Kelly scheduled Galdo's trial to begin on Nov. 2 and Mariani's on Dec. 7.
Authorities say the two have blamed each other for the death of Hreha, whose body was found on the kitchen floor of her Yeadon home in March 2008.
In June, Mariani opted out of a deal with prosecutors that would have spared both defendants the possibility of capital punishment if they agreed to a nonjury trial.
