The victim was on the 4600 block of Palethorp Street in Feltonville at about 11:30 Monday night, when shots rang out.
When officers arrived they found a man lying in the street with gunshot wounds to the head and shoulder.
He was taken to Einstein Medical Center.
Police so far, have not made any arrests or indicated if they know what led to the shooting.
