Willis had been held in the Sussex Community Corrections Center on charges of endangering the welfare of a child, driving under the influence, ignoring a police signal, resisting arrest and violation of probation on an earlier charged of assault.
Prisoner escapes from work crew in Milton

Correction spokeswoman Kate Bailey says Freddie Willis of Milton
fled from the work crew about 12:50 p.m. Tuesday. She says officers
are working to bring Willis back into custody.
