$3,000 nabbed in Center City bank robbery

CENTER CITY - September 25, 2009 It happened around 1:30 p.m. at the First Trust Bank at 1901 Walnut Street.

Police say the suspect walked into the bank and handed the teller a note, implying he had a weapon.

The man took off with about $3,000 dollars in cash.

The robber is described as a heavy set black male, between 35 and 40 years old, wearing blue jeans and a blue shirt.
