Teen arrested in grandmother's stabbing

TORRESDALE - October 1, 2009 Police were called out to the 3400 block of Brookview Drive just before 6:30 a.m. Thursday.

There they found a 64-year-old woman stabbed twice in the abdomen.

She was taken to Aria Hospital-Torresdale Division in critical condition. She is expected to recover.

Police arrested the victim's 16-year-old granddaughter . Aggravated assault charges are pending.

Investigators are trying to determine a motive for the stabbing.
