State: Pa. man propositioned own daughter

HARRISBURG, Pa. - October 9, 2009 Attorney General Tom Corbett says the 39-year-old Lititz man went onto the Facebook social networking site using the name "Bad Daddy" to locate the girl, with whom he had had no contact for about 10 years.

Authorities say the man - whose name is not being used to avoid identifying his daughter - proposed a meeting earlier this month and described sex acts in graphic detail.

According to the criminal complaint, he told his daughter, "not many other fathers and daughters are this brave, so not many of them are so lucky to experience all these pleasures."

Corbett says the girl told her mother, who contacted police.

Agents from the Child Predator Unit and Ephrata Police arrested him when he arrived at a predetermined meeting location on October 7th.

Agents seized a camera, tripod and an unopened box of condoms from his vehicle, along with a digital camera, camcorder, computers and data storage devices from his home.

The man is charged with one count of unlawful contact with a minor (related to involuntary deviate sexual intercourse), a first-degree felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison and a $25,000 fine.

He is being held on $400,000 bail in the Lancaster County Jail.

Also arrested in the same sting was Michael Quartucci, 27, from Philadelphia.

Police say Quartucci, an EMT, sent nude photos and pornography to agents posing as teenage girls
