DOVER, Del. (AP) - November 14, 2009

Delaware State jumped out to a 16-0 lead after Riley Flickinger kicked three field goals and Anthony Glaud threw a 27-yard third quarter touchdown pass to Zach Charles.

DeAngelo Branche's 1-yard touchdown run with 2:35 left brought Norfolk State within two, but Francis Adjei broke up quarterback Dennis Brown's two-point conversion pass attempt to Chris Bell in the end zone.

The Spartans (6-4, 5-3 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) then got the ball back and drove 77 yards in six plays for the winning score.

Delaware State (3-7, 2-5) got the ball back and drove to the Norfolk State 27, but Terrell Whitehead intercepted Glaud's pass in the end zone.
