Teen girl charged in deadly Pa. crash

WARRINGTON, Pa. - November 20, 2009

The teen surrendered to authorities on Thursday. She's charged with homicide by vehicle and related charges.

Her name is not being released at this time because she is a juvenile.

The crash killed 16-year-old Alex Smolner, who had just moved to the area from Miami, Florida the week before.

She attended Central Bucks South High School for just one day before she died.

After the crash, police said all three occupants of the car were wearing their seatbelts and speeding did not appear to be a factor.
