Man drives to fire station after being shot

NORTH PHILADELPHIA - January 13, 2010

The shooting took place around 9:00 on the 2400 block of Marston Street while the victim was in his vehicle. The 35-year-old man sustained gunshot wounds to his stomach and armpit.

After being shot the victim drove from the scene to a fire station (Engine 45) at the intersection of 26th and York Streets.

Medic 25, which is stationed at the firehouse, rushed the man to Temple University Hospital. He is currently listed in critical condition.

There is no word on suspects or a motive at this time. Police are investigating.
