At around 6:17 p.m. Sunday, Philadelphia police were called out to the 6200 block of Chelwynde Avenue in Southwest Philadelphia for the report of a shooting.
When they arrived, they found a man in his 20's suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
He was transported to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in extremely critical condition.
There are no arrests so far.
Police are investigating.
