A Delaware grand jury Monday indicted Jeanne A. Moore and Dereke R. Moore on charges of Murder by Abuse or Neglect in the First Degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Child - Felony, and Abusing a Corpse.
Dover police took both Moores into custody Monday.
Authorities initially said they believe the baby was born at Dereke Moore's parents' home. The next day Jeanne Moore went to Bayhealth Medical Center for bleeding. That's where authorities allege she confessed to disposing of the boy's body in a Hampton Inn trash bin in Dover.
