The shooting apparently started as an argument inside a home at Dryden and Edinburgh streets in New Castle, according to police.
The victim was shot in the chest and arm, and then stumbled out of the house and collapsed in the snow at about 1:30 a.m.
Witnesses told police they spotted two men running from the home. A weapon was found nearby.
