Residents voted to approve a budget and referendum tonight by a wide margin.
It means that an estimated 13 firefighting jobs will be saved.
The Mount Laurel Professional Firefighters Association estimated that the job saving budget will cost each resident on average, an additional $35 a year in taxes.
