It happened at Club Black Diamond on the 3000 block of Germantown Avenue.
Police say at about 12:30 Sunday morning a man armed with a gun opened fire inside the club after two people got into an argument over a spilled drink.
People inside the club ran for their lives as gunshots rang out.
All of the victims were rushed to Temple University Hospital. 33-year-old Tyreese Pierce died. A 22-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman are in critical condition. Another 32-year-old man is stable.
Police say the gunman was seen running off and getting into a black SUV.
