Police have issued an alert for Jose Oyarzun, 40, of the 300 block of Sanford Road in Upper Darby.
Oyarzun has been charged with dozens of counts of child pornography.
The alert was issued after detectives learned Oyarzun did not return to his job at Cooper Hospital in Camden.
Police say they have also learned that his 13-year-old son has not been in school.
On Thursday, investigators learned that Oyarzun left the country on February 18, 2010 on a flight from JFK airport to Madrid, Spain. Authorities are uncertain whether Madrid is his final destination.
Authorities believe Oyarzun may be with his wife, Elezasene, who is a Portuguese national, and/or their two children: the 13-year old son and a 4-year old daughter.
