The accident occurred just before 4:00 p.m. Thursday on Shelley Road and Old Skippack Road in Upper Salford Township.
One of the drivers was flown to Lehigh Valley Hospital while the other was taken to Grandview Hospital.
Rescuers on the scene initially reported as many as 13 injured, but now say only the two drivers were hurt.
The name Bethel Baptist Church is on the side of the bus, but at this point it's not clear if the injured people are from that church.
State Police are investigating.
