Robert M. Edwards, 18, of the 1900 block of Spruce Avenue in Camden was charged in the shooting of a 38-year-old man.
Police say it all began with a fight that drew a large crowd. At one point, the victim was shot in the shoulder.
That victim then went into a house near the scene, and police say it took them three hours to convince him to come out.
Edwards, meanwhile, was arrested shortly after the shooting.
He was placed in the Gloucester County Jail, Woodbury in default of $100,000 bail.
The weapon used in the shooting was not recovered.
