After close call, Villanova insists all is well

The Villanova Wildcats have 25 wins and are still playing in the NCAA tournament.

Any team would take that kind of mark. But the Wildcats have not been at their best on or off the court for most of the last month.

They stumbled to a 2-5 finish. Then Villanova shot poorly and needed overtime to get past mid-major Robert Morris in overtime in the first round of the tournament.

Scottie Reynolds, Corey Fisher, and Taylor King were benched at the start of the game for disciplinary reasons.

Coach Jay Wright says he understands there's a perception problem right now of his program. Wright blames some of the problems on college kids acting like college kids.

Reynolds said the team must accept the criticism being directed at the team.
