Anna Bassett, a student who works with Milwaukee TV news station WISN, caught the incident on her cell phone and posted it on YouTube, but later took it down.
"The teacher said, 'Can you either be quiet so we can finish or you can escort... you can leave.'" And then she's like, 'No, I'm not leaving. I paid for this. I have every right to be here,'" Bassett said.
Witnesses say the argument occurred earlier in March during a discussion about a question on a recent exam.
There have also been reports that the student became unruly and threw a water bottle at another student who tried to intervene. Milwaukee televisions station WTMJ reports Robyn Foster was cited for resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
According to reports filed by CNN, there's no word if she will be allowed back in the class.
