Van overturns, catches fire on I-95

PHILADELPHIA - April 12, 2010

The accident happened around 6:45 just north of the Betsy Ross Bridge exit in Philadelphia's Port Richmond section.

Chopper 6 HD spotted flames leaping from the vehicle and debris scattered across the highway.

Firefighters were able to douse the flames shortly after their arrival.

Two people were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

I-95 was reopened at 8:12 a.m. after being closed for over an hour.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
