Deputy Attorney General Steven Wood was pulled over in Doylestown Township on April 12. A police report says Wood was the driver of an SUV that was seen weaving in the township.
Wood said of the charges on Tuesday that he made a "stupid mistake."
Chief Deputy Attorney General Charles Butler says Wood suffered the consequences within the personnel system, but would not specify what those were. Wood remains with the department.
