Drug Enforcement Administration officials say Lisette Lee had 500 pounds of pot in her bags.
She arrived in Columbus, Ohio, in a private jet, along with a bodyguard and two personal assistants.
Federal drug agents say they had a tip about the 28-year-old woman who was traveling with a suspicious amount of luggage.
According to court papers, Lee claims a friend gave her $60,000 to take the suitcases from L.A. to Columbus.
She's now charged with conspiracy and possession of drugs with the intent to distribute.
