Police: Plymouth Meeting robber takes cab to Gallery

PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa. - June 25, 2010

It was around 11:00 a.m. Monday when the suspect entered the Wachovia Bank on West Germantown Pike in Plymouth Meeting.

Police say he brandished a silver-colored semi-automatic pistol and announced a robbery.

He was able to take an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing.

The suspect was seen running westbound on Germantown Pike.

Police believed that he entered a taxi, exited the taxi in the area of 10th and Market streets in Philadelphia, and entered The Gallery at Market East.

The suspect is described as a black male, early 20's, light complexion, 6'3" tall, 160 pounds, wearing a black baseball cap, sunglasses, white dress shirt, black tie, black pants, and gloves. He may have a scar or mark on his right cheek.

The suspect is considered armed and dangerous. There may be a reward for information that leads to the apprehension of this subject, and tipsters can remain anonymous.
