Man found dead in Chester, despite curfew

CHESTER, Pa. - June 28, 2010

A man was found shot several times inside a minivan around 11:00 Sunday night, at the intersection of Boyle and Honan Streets.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim's identity has not been released.

Police are looking for the gunman and trying to determine a motive for the killing.

Last week, city council unanimously voted to extend a curfew in five high crime neighborhoods. People are not allowed on the street from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m., unless they can convince police that they have a legitimate reason.
