It happened just before 3:00 p.m. at Mary Lane and Cedar Grove Road in Broomall.
The worker was pronounced dead at the scene.
There is no word yet on how the electrocution happened.
In a statement a Comcast spokesman said "All of us at Comcast are surprised and saddened by this tragic news and we extend our heartfelt sympathy and condolences to our employee's family and friends."
Comcast said it is working with authorities to investigate the matter.
