Mrs. Fixit: Hand It To Me

July 10, 2010

The smell of onions and garlic can really get into your skin and are hard to get out. Wet your hands and sprinkle some baking soda on them. Massage it in well and then rinse with hot water.

The odors will be gone and as a bonus the light abrasive in the baking soda will leave them softer too!

No baking soda on hand? try white vinegar. You won't get the buffing action but the odors will disappear in no time!

Paint stains and splotches can be scurbbed away with some plain old toothpaste. The cleaning agent will work the same way on your skin that they do on your teeth!

Along those same lines an old toothbrush is perfect for getting the paint off of your nails and cuticles.

If you don't want your hands minty fresh try some hair conditioner to remove those splotches!

Easy ways to care for your hands so you can keep up on your projects! I'm Mrs. Fixit and it's just that simple!
