Two tubers injured in paintball attack

MT. CUBA, Del. - July 12, 2010 On Sunday at 7:30 p.m., police responded to the area of the Brandywine Creek near Ramsey Road and Creek Road for a report of an assault.

When the officers arrived, they found two adults covered in paint. The victims said they were tubing along the river Sunday afternoon when someone starting shooting at them with a paintball gun from land.

According to the victims, the female was struck once on her right hip and once in the left side of her head. The male victim then got onto land and started to chase the subject along a dirt path near a cornfield belonging to Ramsey's Farm. The suspect then turned around and pointed the paintball gun at the victim's face who then quickly turned his body. The suspect shot the victim in his back, right shoulder and right elbow.

The suspect then started running again when additional members of the victim's party joined in the chase.

He was last seen getting into a silver colored Honda Civic with a Delaware registration plate. Officers searched the area and later located the car off of Ridge Road just over the line in Linwood, PA.

Police say a man named Ramon, also known as "Razor", is responsible for the shooting.
