The murder happened around 12:30 Wednesday morning on the 500 block of West Fifth Street.
The victim, a man in his 20s, was shot in the head.
He died on the street.
About 10 minutes before that shooting, someone opened fire on a 20-year-old woman.
She was wounded in the lower back and elbow while walking along 29 and Washington streets.
She is expected to recover.
Less than an hour before that, a gunman opened fire on a 27-year-old man in the unit block of East 23rd Street.
The victim was transported to Christiana Hospital where he is in critical but stable condition.
So far, police have not indicated if they have motives or suspects in any of the shootings.
