Beginning today and continuing each Tuesday through the month of September, Dunkin' Donuts is offering free coffee to teachers.
To take advantage of this offer, teachers can go to any Dunkin' Donuts with proof of their employment and they'll get a free medium coffee.
Dunkin' Donuts will be offering the same deal to firefighters and EMT's in October, members of the military in November, and police officers in December.
In addition, Dunkin' Donuts is asking Greater Philadelphia area residents to help identify and recognize local heroes who keep the community running every day. From September 15, 2010, to November 1, 2010, Dunkin' Donuts is encouraging people to log on to www.DDThanksToYou.com to nominate an individual or organization that has made a difference in their community.
In honor of Dunkin' Donuts 60th Birthday, 60 Greater Philadelphia area community heroes will be selected as the 2010 Dunkin' Donuts "Thanks to You" Community Heroes of the Year. Selected heroes will receive coffee for a year and recognition at a special ceremony later this year.
