What's closed for Labor Day?

Federal courts and state offices are closed. U.S. Post Offices are closed for the day, and there will be no delivery service.

Trash collection for Philadelphia and many communities will be delayed by a day due to the holiday.

Many banks will not be open for business today, so check with your branch before you head out.

Most U.S. financial markets, including the stock markets, will be closed Monday, Sept. 6 for Labor Day.
