FBI looking for man who robbed Montco bank

The FBI is looking for the man who robbed a bank Friday morning in Flourtown, Montgomery County.

It happened around 10:25 a.m. at the TD Bank branch at 1240 Bethlehem Pike.

Investigators say the suspect entered the bank armed with a gun and demanded money.

After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, which the man put into a clear plastic trash bag that he was carrying, he fled the area of the bank on foot.

There were no injuries.

The bandit is described as a black male in his 20's, 6'2" tall, 180 pounds, thin build, wearing a cap, a dark gray suit jacket and pants, a dark t-shirt, and blue or green latex surgical gloves. He was carrying the pistol in his left hand.

This man is considered armed and dangerous, and anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Springfield Township Police Department at 215-836-1601.
