But police in Cincinnati say a baby wasn't the only thing a jail inmate was carrying.
They say 24-year-old January Newport was being prepped for a C-section last month when nurses found drugs hidden in her womb.
Police say she had been carrying some 15 pills used to treat anxiety.
The Dayton woman had been arrested the day before on a theft charge, accused of stealing a computer from a Walmart store.
The woman has pleaded guilty to theft and drug charges.
She's due to be sentenced Nov. 16.
